DBD Fashion Tips – Dressed and Confessed!

WHAT SHALL I WEAR TODAY?

How about a Kingdom Fashioned Statement? An excellently attired woman who aspires to walk in Kingdom Authority prepares her walk daily and is very conscious of her wardrobing choices. She makes sure that her inwardly appearance is pleasing to the Lord.

She begins her day early morning with a good cleansing before God, allowing his word to search out her heart. “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. “(Psalms Chapter 51). “Spiritual cleanliness is next to Godliness.”

She lavishly sprays the pleasant perfume of peace over her chest to keep her heart from the discord and strife she’ll encounter throughout the day. “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.” (Colossians 3:15)

Next she puts on her feminine garments of strength and honor. ” Strength
and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.” Proverbs 31:25.

She gratefully puts on the Robe of Righteousness with great care and rejoices knowing that it is not of her own righteousness, but the righteousness of her Lord and Savior that she knows God.  “Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.” (Peter 1:3) “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law (his own good doings), but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” (Galations 2 16-17)

She covers her robe of righteousness with the whole Armour of God that she’ll be able to withstand the wiles of the devil. She understands that people are not her problem, and that she has only one enemy (one adversary) Satan. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

She understands that she needs to put on the WHOLE armour of God daily, that she may be able to withstand in the evil day, and even though she may feel like she’s falling down, she knows through Jesus she can still stand firm!

She meticously prepares herself:

• She stands therefore, having her loins girt about with truth, and
• She puts on the breastplate of righteousness;
• And she shods her feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace
• Then grabs up her shield of faith, making sure not to leave without it - so she’ll be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked
• She places the helmet of salvation upon her head,
• and takes the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God which rests on her lips like her favorite shade of  lipstick
• And she ceases not praying – praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Ephesians 6 10:18)

And lastly she accessorizes her neck with chains of grace allowing her to keep sound wisdom and discretion. Keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. (Proverbs 3 13:22).

CARING FOR YOUR GARMENT

Robe of Righteousness Garment Care Instructions:

1) Remember to die to flesh daily before putting on your robe of righteousness

2) Remember that “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”  (Joshua 1:8) and

3) Meditate upon what Paul said “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12 1-2)
